My purpose in writing this blog is to reflect on Middle East news, particularly in newspaper and television form, and to provide insightful commentary on what’s happening in that part of the world. American, Arab and international media will be scrutinized.
There will be no shortage of topics to reflect on; America is at war. American oil interests are embedded in that part of the world. The recipients of huge amounts of American foreign aid are located there. And Americans need to know what’s going on.
